Listen! Who knew that it took so much to edit your photos?! I totally get now why professional retouching and editing costs so much! Since I got into blogging I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get my photos to hold a certain aesthetic. I’ve tried numerous apps, tried my hand at Lightroom and Photoshop (ugh) and even bought a camera! But as they say, it’s not the camera, it’s the person behind it. Not to mention, the person who edits it.
I’ve faced the fact that those perfect photos don’t just come from anywhere, it requires a certain eye. One that I and most of us (if we’re honest with ourselves) don’t have. That’s why now, I’ve turned to using Krome Photos. Yes I still use my usual apps here and there, but when I want to make an impression, I use Krome Photos. Because I work full time, I don’t have the luxury of sitting around editing photos for hours on end. Simply because I don’t have the skill or the equipment and well, I’d rather be doing something else quite frankly. Lol.
Krome Photos is really easy to use and it’s such a novel idea. Basically, you’re having someone else do all your editing work for you and in only a matter of hours. All you have to do is download the app from the iPhone App Store or Google Play and submit your photos. You get a range of options for looks and customized requests in a quick step by step fashion. There are tons of looks. You can choose to enhance (such as color correct, skin correct, background correct) or design (choose from a wide selection of themes including Christmas, Halloween, Fall, Wedding, Special Events, Cars and many many more).
Once you’ve chosen the look and feel you want, you submit to have it edited right there in the app. This is the best part for me. It’s edited in no time at all, by a professional (yes!) and emailed right back to you with all the details. From then on it’s yours to share, post and print with no hassle at all. If you want, you can even request a free re-edit. The app is quite versatile so you also get to see your completed photos in the app itself, in case you may have missed the email saying it’s ready.
You can have perfect photos starting from as little as $3, which is definitely worth all the time and effort you’d be saving otherwise. I mean I spend more than that on coffee! But seriously, this app saves me a lot and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Check them out and see for yourself!
So tell me, do you edit your photos or do you have someone do them for you?
Thanks for stopping by!

PS ~ the top photo was done with the retro background in the app. I love it!
